Yesterday, May 29, there were very strong winds in Santiago.
This winds exceeded 80 km/h and more than 600 trees fell, also there were interruptions of electric service in many communes of the Metropolitan Region.
But this didn't happened because the winds were too strong, it was because Santiago isn't prepared to handle heavy weather, since almost every time it rains more than usual we can see floods and power outages, in contrast in cities like Valdivia were 300 days in the year it rains and this barely has an impact in the citizens that live there.
What is your opinion on this?
