Guillermo Pereira and the 50th medal for team chile

After finishing the four days of golf tied in 269 strokes, the representatives of Paraguay (Fabrizio Zanotti), Chile (Guillermo Pereira) and Guatemala (José Manuel Toledo) had to go to a tiebreaker hole to determine in what order to finish these Pan American Games.

In the tiebreak the Paraguayan Zanotti scored with a pair, while the Chilean Pereira and the Guatemalan Toledo recorded a blow on the pair, which made Fabrizio Zanotti the Pan-American champion, and sending Toledo and Pereira to another tiebreaker hole to define the silver and bronze medalists.

The definition between the Chilean and the Guatemalan was a separate story, and finally after disputing a dozen modifications, it was José Manuel Toledo the silver medalist, and Guillermo "Mito" Pereira who controlled the bronze.

With this prize, Team Chile closed its participation in the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima with 50 medals to its credit, of which 13 were gold, 19 silver and 18 bronze medals. Simply spectacular
